About The Event
Wise Guy’s Chess Club is proud to host our 2nd Annual Open House on February 4th from 6–8pm at the District Detroit Opportunity Center. This evening is an opportunity for supporters, partners, and community members to learn more about the meaningful work we’ve accomplished, from community chess engagements to youth mentorship and development programs. Guests will also get an inside look at our vision and plans for 2026 as we continue using chess as a tool to empower, educate, and unite our community. All supporters are welcome to come connect, learn, and grow with us.
