National Chess Day: Wise Guy's Chess Club proudly hosted a thrilling chess tournament at #WisdomWednesdays in honor of National Chess Day. As part of our ongoing #WisdomWednesdays series, this event brought together players of all ages and skill levels, showcasing the strategic brilliance and camaraderie that chess has within our community.

In the vibrant Northend neighborhood of Detroit, a new initiative is taking shape, uniting two powerful forces for community engagement: Wise Guy’s Chess Club and The Detroit People’s Food Co-Op. Together, they are launching “Make Your Move Mondays,” a community chess night designed to bring people together through the love of the game.
