♟️🎀 Wise Guy’s Chess Club proudly presents Checkmate Breast Cancer, our 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser, bringing together chess players, community members, families, businesses, and supporters for an evening where chess meets purpose.
Taking place on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 5:00–9:00 PM, in partnership with Bedrock Detroit and DeckedOut Detroit, this special event will feature an exciting 5-Round Swiss Blitz Chess Tournament designed to challenge players, build community, and use the power of chess to bring awareness to an important cause.
This tournament is about more than winning a chess game.
