CHECKMATE! FIDE Master BIG John - Vs. - MOE

Writer: Arthur JohnsonArthur Johnson

Things got a little interesting at Wisdom Wednesday's when MOE challenged the FIDE Master BIG John to a match. The two are playing each match for $2 and a lot of pride on the line. As they begin the match things appeared to be normal until MOE noticed that BIG John had two Bishops on the same color square. In chess this is illegal! BIG John and MOE both set their pieces back up to restart the match, but not without BIG John having to pay up first.

MOE insisted that he was paid for the illegal move that was mistakenly played by BIG John. BIG John didn't feel he should have had to pay seeing as though the board wasn't set up the right way to begin the game. Although BIG John had a point, it still wasn't good enough to change MOE'S mind. He took the FIDE Master's $2 and enticed him to win it back if he felt he was cheated. Once the two dollars were paid, the match beginned with all 32 soliders in place. Can you guess who won this heated chess battle MOE and the FIDE Master BIG John? Comment below
