Make Your Move Mondays All Summer Long at Nick Gilbert Way

Partnered with Decked Out Detroit x Bedrock Detroit proudly launched the first-ever Make Your Move Mondays at Nick Gilbert Way, and the response from the community exceeded all expectations. With a packed house from start to finish, Downtown Detroit came alive as chess enthusiasts, families, professionals, and curious passersby gathered together for an evening of strategy, connection, and fun.

Located right on Woodward Avenue outside the iconic Hudson's Detroit development, the event transformed Nick Gilbert Way into an exciting outdoor chess destination. The atmosphere was nothing short of amazing. Players of all ages and skill levels filled the tables, friendly matches took place throughout the evening, and spectators stopped to watch the action unfold.

One of the most exciting aspects of the event was seeing so many people walking by and deciding to join in. Whether they were experienced players looking for a challenge or newcomers wanting to learn the game, everyone was welcomed with open arms.
